How is punching up not the same as punching sideways?

It’s one thing to criticize people for abusing their power, but it’s another thing to criticize people for being straight, white, or male. It’s bigotry parading as equality and justice.

If equality for all is the end goal, we should discourage EVERYONE from judging others on their surface identities, and to instead treat everyone as individuals, with unique backgrounds, upbringings, and perspectives.
