I agree, and I really do think that we’re in the early stages of that. Fortunately, I still think we have time to fight against this weird authoritarianism. I also think that most people aren’t in favor of having their speech policed — those who go around lecturing the world on which thoughts are appropriate and which aren’t really only represent a minority view, it’s just that they’re the ones with the social megaphone at the moment.
