This is a huge part of why I’m so critical of wokeness — it’s not based on compassion for the marginalized, it’s based on revenge. It’s vindictiveness parading around as equality and fairness, throwing true liberalism to the wind in favor of an ideology that’s constantly shifting its definition of power and oppression.

Liberalism states that everyone has the same opportunity to participate — wokeness demands that people with opportunities give them up for those that don’t have them.

One movement aims to add more chairs to the table, the other aims to take them away from others and bickers with itself over who gets to sit in them.
